Oh hey, I'm Abby. I'm so glad you're here.
If you’ve made it this far, looks like you’ve got something very exciting you want to have celebra(n)ted! Look no further - I’m already as excited as you are. You’ve probably seen that there’s a few of us celebrants about town, celebrating things - so what makes this one any different? Let me tell you a bit about myself.
I wear many hats (but celebrant is my fave!)
I've been a celebrant for nearly 5 years now! I started my training during the pandemic, ready to go when things opened. I'd been thinking about it for years - I loved public speaking, I've always loved love (I've seen Titanic 156 times and counting... come on now), it felt like the perfect match! But outside my celebrant life, I am a marketing professional working in the not-for-profit space. I studied Film & Television, have a Diploma of Photography, have written a book, am a singer-songwriter (that's why I can sing you down the aisle!) and have even learnt to DJ just so I can offer the ultimate wedding package!
I'm a proud queer woman
The road to coming out is often never easy, but OOFT was that closet stuffy. I use the pronouns she/her and am so proud to be part of the queer community, and will always champion and provide safe spaces for all of my rainbow family. My wife Bex and I got married back in 2022 and welcomed our own gayby baby into the world in 2025. We have a remarkable chosen family but I have the lived experience of managing difficult bio family dynamics which I can bring to help make your special day feel as safe and supported as possible.
Country gal in the big city
I was born and raised in regional New South Wales and moved to Melbourne to study film and ✨find myself✨. I really love Melbourne (particularly the inner North) but you'll always find me trying to escape back out into nature. One thing I have never been able to shake from country life is my tendency to yap non-stop to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

A (non-exhaustive) list of things I'll yap your ear off about:
